Depressed… yet motivated

I used to be the pretty one, many years ago.  I gained a lot of weight when married and took most of it off after divorcing in 2001.  I got down to 145 and then slowly started to gain again.  I wasn’t pleased but was accepting of a weight of 175 where I had stayed for several years. 

2 years ago I started dating a new man.  He is wonderful, and we are very happy but he has terrible eating habits that his metabolism can take but mine cannot.  I went to the Dr last week to find that I now weigh 215.  I was devastated and began to cry right there on the scale.  No more ice cream in the evening!

With my work hours I find it difficult to excercise, but want to find some easy effective things at home.  I cant afford a gym membership, or even a dvd at this point but am very open to suggestions of things I can do.  I have begun walking… but as the weather is changing, it gets cold and dark by the time I get home.

I really want to do this.  I will be 40 in May… help?
